Rendering Unconscious Podcast is hosted by psychoanalyst Dr. Vanessa Sinclair, who interviews psychoanalysts, psychologists, scholars, creative arts therapists, writers, poets, philosophers, artists & other intellectuals about their process, world events, the current state of mental health care, politics, culture, the arts & more. Episodes are also created from lectures given at various international conferences.
Dr Jordan Osserman is a Wellcome Trust Research Fellow in the Department of Psychosocial Studies at Birkbeck, University of London, and a trainee in clinical psychoanalysis with The Site for Contemporary Psychoanalysis. He is currently working on his book, entitled ‘Circumcision on the Couch’. He’s also beginning work on the team of ‘Waiting Times’, a multi-stranded research project on the temporalities of healthcare. His writing has been published in outlets such as Transgender Studies Quarterly, the Journal for Cultural and Religious Theory, and Blunderbuss Magazine, and he is a host on the podcast New Books in Psychoanalysis. Jordan grew up in South Florida.
